  • Favorite Hunting Areas: Wherever Treasure Can Be Found
  • Hunter of the Week: Yes

Hello my fellow Treasure Hunters it’s a new week, so that means there is a new Featured Treasure Hunter of the Week at Treasure Mountain Detectors and its YouTube star RedDirtDigger.

RDD has only been detecting about 4 years but his finds makes it look like he has been detecting about 14 years. RDD has gained a lot of experience and sharpened his treasure hunting skills in the past 4 years. He went from finding your basic clad coins to finding silver coins, gold rings and relics on a regular basis now. But, what stood out to me was, I asked RDD what is your favorite find and his answer was "the one I treasure the most is the friends I’ve made along the way."  Wow, I can say I have never had that answer before but honestly when I think about it, I would have to say that is probably 95% of what all of us would say if we really thought about it. I know myself, which I have been detecting around 20 years and found, sold, donated valuable treasures from all over the world would have to say the one I value the most is the friends I have made along the way too. So, RDD I have to say that was a great answer and you are absolutely correct.  Us Treasure Hunters is are a unique group of folks that are gung ho and sometimes obsessed about metal detecting and Treasure Hunting and I have noticed in my 20 years of doing this that your either all in or not in at all. That understanding and bond we have with other Treasure Hunters is something that the folks that are not in at all will never understand. So in conclusion that tells you RedDirtDigger is a great guy and I highly recommend you to check his YouTube channel out and subscribe to it so you can keep up with his up and coming videos http://www.youtube.com/user/REDDIRTDIGGER . Also check him out and some of his finds at one of my favorite metal detecting forums www.MetalDetectory.com  and RDD's page http://www.metaldetectory.com/REDDIRTDIGGER . Remember my friends always vote for your favorite Treasure hunters by clicking the stars at the top of the page and check out some of RDD’s finds below. Good Luck to you RedDirtDigger. Do not forget to subscribe to our News Letter to find out the latest and greatest from Treasure Mountain Detectors.
