  • Favorite Hunting Areas: Wherever Treasure Can Be Found

Hello My Fellow Treasure Hunters! It's been awhile but we have another Featured Treasure Hunter! I would like to introduce world renowned Metal Detectorist Jeff Truitt from Hickory, NC!

Jeff has metal detected throughout the US and continues to make frequent trips to England strictly for metal detecting! He has been Metal Detecting longer than some of you have been alive! Jeff started detecting 35 years ago with a super cheap detector he got for Christmas and actually found a a wheat penny the first time out with it! After that Jeff was hooked! Throughout the years Jeff has perfected his detecting skills and worked with numerous Archaeologists recovering our worlds history. When Jeff is hunting in the US you can catch him hunting Civil War sites, skirmish sites in Western NC, along with some great Colonial Tavern/Home and community sites too. He also enjoys hunting some of the popular hunts here in the US like DIV and JGD which he tries to make it too once a year. Now... when Jeff is not hunting in the US he is over in England hunting with another Famous Metal Detectorist and Treasure Hunter named Chicago Ron! Man..... Jeff Truitt is living the life... huh? As you can tell by now Jeff is a serious Detectorist and in his arsenal of metal detectors you can find ..... get ready for it..... A Garrett AT  Pro, XP Deus, CTX 3030 and even a GPX 5000.... Now, I have to admit that's not a bad way to spend $10,000! Also wanted to mention that all of these metal detectors and more can be purchased at http://treasuremtndetectors.com/  .With this arsenal of elite metal detectors he has found Roman coins, fibula's, tokens, Jettons, Matrix seals, English full cross hammered silver pennies from the 1100's from England and Buckles, patch knives, buttons, coins from Civil War and Revolutionary sites here in the US! Jeff Truitt is a great guy and an Elite Team member here at Treasure Mountain Detectors! Check out some of Jeff's finds below and you can contact him through his Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/truitt1?fref=ts
